Write it: Click anywhere on the screen and type in the text you want to write. Create anything you can imagine with Photoshop, the worlds best imaging and design app. Then select the Type tool from the toolbar on the right side of the screen. Select it: Select the layer you want to add text to or create a new layer.
Type it: Select the Horizontal Type tool or the Vertical Type tool, click anywhere on your canvas with your cursor, and type what you want. Make sure you click directly on the words. There are multiple methods to apply a text outline to your image. Layer it: Select the Add New Layer button in the Layers panel.
To do that, click on the words Inner Glow in the list of Layer Styles on the left of the Layer Style dialog box. We want the text to appear to be surrounded by the shadow, so instead of using the ready-made inner shadow that Photoshop gives us, we're going to create our own Inner Shadow layer style by converting the Inner Glow style into a shadow. Now, there is an actual "Inner Shadow" layer style, but we're not going to use it because it's limited to giving us a directional shadow. Next, we're going to give our text more of a three-dimensional look by adding an inner shadow.
